We present the common rail injection system specially developed by Bosch for Mercedes MP4 trucks with Euro6 engines.

1. The components of the system are:

a. 2-element high pressure pump, flow regulator and transfer pump

b. Common injector supply ramp

c. Commonrail injectors with 2 control valves and pressure amplifier, X-Pulse (diesel spray up to 2700 bar, with 15% lower consumption than the competition)

d. Fuel filter battery for impeccable filtration

2. Maintenance and overhaul of the Mercedes Actros MP4 engine.

It is important to know that the life of these components is the quality of the fuel and filters. As the fuel quality level is difficult to identify (it may differ from batch to batch even at the same manufacturer / distributor), it is preferable to set as short a range of overhauls as possible that are provided by the manufacturer. If for a certain tractor-head the revision of oil and oil / fuel filters to 120,000 km is foreseen, we propose you to shorten this term to 80,000 km. In our experience, you get a one-third higher cost through these urgent overhauls but be assured that an engine with these procedures will run instead of 900,000 km even 1,500,000 km, until a major failure occurs on it.

Another very important variable is the mode of operation of cars with diesel engines. The driver may have a protective approach and take care of the engine through his driving mode or may force and use it unnecessarily, resulting in major premature failures.
